Why We Work?

It is the day after Thanksgiving and we had a half staff in the office. I thought it was going to be a day for "Office Space" and some leftovers and the cheese, of course the cheese. So we field a call at 9:30AM for a constituent who wants a tour of Air and space for 26 people arriving at 11:00AM. Why we work? The staff went into overdrive and after navigating a phone system that refused to end with a live person picking up got a tour set up. We are here to make sure constituents have a good time in DC but can you try and set things up early. Its called courtesy people. Anyway, its our job so I shouldn't bitch about it. Its good to work. Its good to be there for constituents.
