Ice Luge

New Years Eve is usually a bust. Too much hype and what not. This year a smaller affair was made in order even though I had initial misgivings about the affair. We pulled together and presented a clean house and clean rooms, we had the champagne and beer and tatsy treats for our guests. We were good to go. Overall, I thought it went well although early on in the evening it seemed like it was going to be the just the house mates and Carson Daly. But we swelled the ranks of our party-goers and how do you ask but with our very own ice luge. Jager, Sauza, Absolute, Kahlua and by the end of the night champagne all made an appearance. Chilled tequilla brings back memories of the family at weddings. Unlike most ice luges which are just a big block of ice with a zig zag line, we had a sculpture of Rodin Proportions We had a sail boat crashing over some waves. Pictures are coming shortly. I think everyone in attendance did atleast one.

I forget how much I enjoy Jager! It tickles the tounge and makes one feel strong.

My housemates were in rare form, the self proclaimed lite weight looked like he was going down for the count only to drink through the hesitation. Another one spoke fluent spanish and was called an very unfortunate term for not doing a luge run while in fact he had done half a dozen or more already, and finally the youngest of the lot had trouble "containing" her fun. She did make friends with Red, a cheerful fellow who was there for her. While your's truly suffered through a humilitating defeat as i could not get a good game of pretend anchorman going with my bourbon. While waylayed i enjoyed some of coppolla's finest bubbles and had a mighty fine cigar.

A highlight of the evening was when our charming neighbors paid us a visit. Our neighbors are great they give us treats and are like parents. They came over and helped to ring in the new year. They even chanced it by doing an ice luge.

New years came and went and having a smaller affair and an ice luge is highly recommended.

My only questionis this...if I put my lips on this ice block as did all of our guests have i kissed all the people they kissed?? Creepy.
