Real Salt Lake v Houston 1836

Which is cooler? I like Real SL. Of course DC United is tops and thank God they're not the Flame or Revolution. They need a St. George Cross on their jerseys. Chime in and tell me what you think.

Yes. DC United is cool. Perhaps too cool owing that name to the glorious Manchester squad.

Houston 1836 is not so bad. What the hell is that date anyway? Was that Sam Houston's date of birth? The name is something there and it reminds me of my team, Sheffield Wednesday (Why owls? Why? Stuck in lowly division 2. Can they sink any deeper?)

Real Salt Lake is over the top. No where is there any spanish in that whitest of white state.

I personally like FC Dallas. Classy and it says it all.

I am glad that US Soccer is starting to realize that there are some cool sounding names that are not cheesy. Good bye Burn and the Wiz. That suff is best left for indoor soccer.

Its the city founding year. RSL is so over the top i like the dicatomy of super white state with very spanish name. Its obtuse.

I hope that all the teams move and rename and we can get a proper league going or have another level or D2.
