Sometimes I hear things, but I could have sworn I heard someone call out my name as I went to the bathroom. It really freaked me out and that was an hour ago and its 5:00AM. Was it a ghost? Was it door jams and this creeky old house playing games with me? Maybe it was a wandering roommate catching me as I had to pee. I'm up and cant sleep.

Did you check the child scratching at your window? Maybe he's just the ghost of Bad Hot Dogs Past.
Most likely it was the ghost of the family that was murdered in your house. Their bodies are still sealed behind the wall next to the furnace in the basement.
My husband works away alot and last week I was woken by his voice whispering in my ear. I jolted awake sure he would be next to me only to realise he is on the other side of the world.
