DC Restaurant Review: Caucus Room

I love a good steak. Hell, I love good food in general.

The Caucus Room is a restaurant in Downtown DC. Its very clubby. The steaks are OK, they wet age their meat. What the hell does that mean? Well they vacuum seal their steaks to bring the juices to the top. I had a filet onthe boe a novel idea, its basically the t-bone. Well it was a little underdone like cold and the sides were to rich, horse radish mash potatoes. For desert I had pecanpie and a capuccino. I had to stop drinking coffee because it is simply awful in most restaurants. i was alittle disappointed with this place. I have eaten at most steaks places in DC a number of times and this meal was not satisfying at all. usually most restaurants have a redeemig quality this had none. I cant believe this is going to be so short but dont eat here.

On my DC scale, this was drafted by leg counsel and the LD killed it before it could be put in the hopper.
