Family History
I was at dinner with my mom, brother and cousin and I found out some family hsitory that made my jaw drop. Apparently, they, my parentals, were illegal, or non adjusted status, or in limbo for eight years?!?!?! What??!! This immigration debate has come full circle. They wanted a better life for me. They paid taxes, bought houses were doctors for shifts that no one wanted to do...my dad provided healthcare for low income inner city families. What am I to think and what am I to do. Apparently whole groups of filipinos back then stayed past their visas. they waited for immigration reform met eligibility standards and became legal. Are most immigrants like this? Are they just trying to live? The worst part is that to deal with their non-status they almost took jobs in Kansas. i could have been a damn farmer...if that happened I would have gone to boarding school....what life could have beenl like. Exeter-Yale-HBS??? Instead I went to UVM for environmental studies. The worse is my uncle a doctor blames illegals for social ills cheese and crackers he was illegal too...what to do....

Why you got to bring that up dude? I don't know you, nor do I have any blood relation. I am not typing on this site... nor do I recall ever typing this comment. P.S. What's wrong with Kansas? You'd still be alone, the only difference is you'd be wandering the corn fields, while listening to Bright Eyes.
You are blood, you're a vampire...ha ha..tahts my next blog, "Lonely Bright Eyes in Kansas." It'll be all my lonely thoughts.
