After the hype has settled a number of people have realized that they didnt undertand the issue and find themsleves switching their position on the issue. Check out this Reporter's Change of Heart. The internet is a patchwork of networks were data packets are pushed through to an end user. The nature of the internet and our open networks makes it both inherently unsafe and unreliable. We keep building capacity to accomdate growth on the internet. Video streaming, and on-line gaming are gaining in popularity. VoIP is now the standard for voice and soon will be the major traffic on all networks. But we need more capacity. i ask Google, who was part of this Net Neutrlity crew...with all of their dark fiber purchases are you going to discriminate on your networks?
This leads to the policy question about new economy companies. When are you going to realize that in DC you all have clout. Come into our offices and get your issue heard and worked out. This all or none philospohy of your comapnies and MoveOn.org kills your cause. Anyway the point is that now that peole are reading more about net neutrality they are changing their minds.
Here's the article again. Let's push for innovation.
If you don't like USA Today and I understand why you wouldn't. Check out this Washington Post article about the debate. I am DLC Dmeocrat and obviously pro-business but if the Post is lambasting the net neutrality issue then you are in trouble. Again, when will any provider block access or lslow down the interent their subscribers would freak out. They would be shooting themselves inthe foot.
'I don't like crisps, but I collect the packets'

Frank Munford's collection ranges from 1970s packets of Tudor Crisps to a
Walkers tracksuit top.
