Why do i feel guilty. I have thought about this purchase for a few months. I knew it was coming, but i still feel bad.
When i was in university, everyone had backpacks, slung over one shoulder with the other hand in their pocket. Not me, i had this awesome leather satchel from spain, that carried my books and notepads, and at times my brothers apple notebook. This was over a decade ago, and people did not have leather bags. So i got my first man bag during Uni.
Leather satchels became popular again a few years and now it is some what OK for men to have a man bag, or man purse, known as a murse. I mean GQ says you should have one.
I guess this means dont throw anything away it comes back in vogue.

Look at cargo pants. We've been wearing those since 1984. Don't get me started on the local snowboard company we tried to start in 1986-87! Our stupid company name could of used some work. But man, we could have been millionaires. "Wage" 4 life!
That is the most embarrising thing to admit. Man purse? Just get yourself a nice daypack. Look rugged. What happened to the Patagonia?
i know this post was ages ago and it's a bit stalkerish my reading your whole blog (i am bored and it's a great read) but I loved man bags. I know they may not be in vogue anymore but there is something about a man who is not ashamed to wear a bag / satchel / purse..whatever
