Finally, and it was well worth it.
We went to Medieval Times for lunch today to celebrate my bros birthday. A stadium full of celebrants and revelrs, cheering for thei knight to win the tounrament and become protectorate of the kingdom.
The food was mass produced food that you had to eat with oyu hands. So there were no utensils but you could have two servings of pepsi..for pete's sake callit grog or something...Pepsi jsut kills the moment. For food we had tomato soup (our serf told us that they switched beacause it wasnt vegetarian...what vegan goes to Medival Times), garlic bread, half a orasted chicken, some ribs, a herbed, buttered potato ans some apple pastry dessert. the food was surprisingly edible. Eeryhting was slow cooked so that it tore easily from the bone. The soup was brothy but not watery with chunks of tomatoes but youhad to drink it..the garlic bread was alittle disappointing(again they had garlic bread inmedival times) it was just boring, the chicken was tasty and hearty, the ribs were slow baked bt uneventful, the potato was overcooked, the dessert was crap. The coffe was industrial. Overal the food wasnt bad but it was greasy.
The show: knights, hawks, jousting, swords, morning stars, maces, and horribly coreographed fights. We supported the yellow night, a young man who had the heart of the princess and who saved the day. there was a ton of audience participation through screaming. The show waas funny, in amonty python way, the show had a plot line but it jsut seemed odd.
I wouols suggest you go, it is well worth it.
