So, last weekend I attended a family wedding with my mom. It was a great reception and I had a lot of fun. I am driving my mom home and on the way back she turns and asks me, "Are you gay?"
"What!??" I respond baffled and bewildered.
"You're not married and I havent seen you with a girl in awhile. I was just wondering. it is OK if you are." She says politely.
"No, I am not gay." I say still stunned and a little disgusted.
A minute of silence....
"So do you have erectile dysfunction?" Mom says quizzically?
"What?!?!" I stammer as my jaw hits the floor. Am I in bizarro world, what just happened.
"So your penis works?" She repeats clinically.
"Yes, it all good down there." I say defending my manhood.
I wish this was a fake story but it wasnt. I am not gay I love women, I love naked women just no desire for marriage. Why would she say these things?

Been there. Done that.
Had the "are you gay?" routine back in high school during the heady days of avante garde nightclubbing, couture designer wear and androgynous friends.
That's one conversation I hope to never have.
I think it was your haircut onocoffee. Oh yeah, and "dancing" to Depeche Mode alone in your room. But then again it could have been Stranger 7. Nothing screams gay like Stranger 7. Hee hee.
