I'm on the hunt for good old British pub food. A little yorkshire pudding with roast beef and real gravey...some quality fish and chips...but really i want yorshire pudding, dutch babies, or pop overs. I want savory not sweet...unfortunately the only place that comes close are BLT Steaks and Castle's and Elephants. When I went to BLT Steaks the pop overs were rock hard and not good at all. I hear that has changed but Im not going back there. So I'm left with C&E...the yorkshire pudding was savory and it is best when fresh and hot. The one i got at E&C was neither fresh nor hot...so it basically just a disappointment.
Please God give me real yorkshire pudding!!!!

i had the popovers at BLT about a month ago and they were divine. they gave the recipe out too. seems like an honorable way to spend a fall afternoon. the question is, where to find a proper popover tray?
