Chef on Call: From the Washington Post Celebegerity Chef helps Cook

The Washington Post has a series called Chef on Call and this one is about Eric Ripert saving the day. He helps a suburban DC housewife with a dinner party. This got me thinking about who I would want to teach me to cook...do I go crazy and have Thomas Keller or Ferrian Adria...maybe abit to high brow for me and can I make a gelee? i think i would need someone with simplier fare, I like French and Spanish food but could I survive a trashing by Bourdain. I just want to learn simple good dishes....I am going to keep this in the realm of celebrity TV chefs so that we can all play. I guess it would be Gordan Ramsey.

Gordan makes simple good food without all the fluff and extras that tend to hide a meal.

I am guessing you have already changed your mind regarding Ramsay . . . especially considering that earlier today you were going to Giada DeLaurentis, then you were thinking Tom Colicchio . . . by later this evening you will probably be thinking Chef Boyardee. And no, Giada still isn't going to cook naked for you.
