We have changed out our furniture from beautiful federal furniture to cubes, nice cubes, dark wood and spacious but cubes none the less. This is my new life in cube city. I thought I wouldn't like it but it is oddly cozy. My cube is small however I was told that by switching to cubes the amount of square footage for my work space was to come into line with OSHA regulations. I don't think that happened. Its the same space I had pre-cube. I do feel more like a rat in the cage, but i have a small LCD TV and a window so what the hell.
What would make a cube better:
1. Secret hatches to spy the rest of the room. Also to shoot rubber bands.
2. A white noise maker to drown out the chatter but still allow me to hear the room.
3. A black out feature to hide
4. Cone of silence for my phone calls
5. Built in sun lamps to get my dose of sunshine.
