Taipei

I travel for work too see the world and because in this global environment we cannot ignore our international neighbors and their problems. I know I know gas prices are through the friggin roof. It pisses me off as well, but we are not the only people feeling the pinch. Headline in Taipei Times: Gas Pinch everyone is rushing to fill their tank. Oils biggest market is Asia specifically China and we have to get them off of it. Their demand combined with our demand is fucking us. before OPEC had to deal with us now the CHinese will pay whatever it takes and we get screwed. Anyway, maybe we should drill in Alaska? STill that is ten years before anything comes online and what will a barrel cost then?

Also, there is a new Presidential Administration here and hopefully this will create more stability in the straights so that china can focus on its people and making their quality of life better.

SO thats why im here..gas prices and regional stability

I really wish the US would do more in Darfur, its tragic and we need to step it up. I am usually a pull yourself up by the bot strap kind of guy but in this case the US should be protecting these people.
