Retiring A Patagonia Bag

I have had a green MLC Patagonia bag since it was introduced into the gearosphere at least 15 years.  It has been to Hawaii 3X, Spain 2X, France, Morocco, China 3X, Taiwan 2X, Yemen, Russia, Poland, Iceland, Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, every island in the Caribbean, Sailing in the BVI's, and any state in the US that i have visited.  It is a great bag and it taught me to pack smart.  I have carried suits for work, cases of beers for parties, and dirty laundry.  The last trip was carrying a suit for Hokie Girl's wedding.

It's my favorite travel bag but I believe it is time to move on.  Now, Patagonia has redesigned the MLC line of  bags.  More ergonomic, floating separator, more pockets while strictly complying with airline carry-on restrictions.  I was up by C-Mart and after sifting through tons of bags i found it...a new MLC in black.

So starts a new bag and new countries to visit.  Up first is Turkey.

oh a photo of the new bag would be great....poor greem MLC bag - you have sent it to retirement before it experiences the massive surfing waves on the beach of Margaret River Western Australia, it never climbed the great red rock in the centre of Australia and was never ever dangled from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
But it's been to fascinating Yemen so I guess that almost makes up for it
