Locally Sourced Cheapskate

Buying your white peaches from a bearded hippie makes people feel good about themselves. I know I do.

I like to buy local its better for the environment. But i find that at farmers market i try and get my fresh fruit fill for the day. I walk around and sample the shit out of everything. If you put a plate of white peaches out i'm very sure to eat most of it. if you offer samples of your grass feed milk i will try everything even the drinkable yogurt. The crab cake guy is the best, 8.95 for a golf ball size lump crab cake, what a steal! He offers sample of his crab cakes, his soups, and empandas and yes i try them all. I do buy things, bad baguettes from the french baker, sausages and pork shoulders, cheese..but i eat more then i buy.

Farmers Market and pick your own fruit farms are hippie capitalism at its finest. Man these guys must make a killing. Support your farmers market eat local, you'll be surprised.
