So, one thing the Democrats have not learned from is the political jujitsu move. I mean we were caught flat footed by what seemingly was a crazy pick, Palin. We set the debate and the Republicans flipped it on us. Instead of issues the national debate is about Palin and lipstick. Instead of a stagnant economy and rising costs we get an energetic person. They took our strength and made it their own. Kerry was swift boated in August and then he was hit with gay marriage in middle America. Gore lost because people wanted to have a beer with Bush instead of a Gin Rickey with Gore.
The Republicans are masters at bringing out an issue that fires up there base. They make a decision that will let them micro target the hell out of voters. They pick a married mom with young kids and talk about security so they get to speak directly to the security moms also formerly known as the soccer moms and they do get to play off of Hillary. It was risky but they knew that the benefits would be huge.
It's the democrats job to reframe and control the debate. Refocus on McCain and remind people of what situation we are in and who can pull them out. Highest unemployment rate, people losing houses, and credit card debt out the ying yang. We are not in a good place.
....oh yeah by the way Gov. Plain makes people who have been raped and needed a rape kit pay for them. Their law enforcement say that tax payers shouldn't be burdened by this cost. She asked for close to $200 million in earmarks and now she bashes them. Palin would rather keep us bound to oil in Alaska as opposed to do anything to fight global warming.
I think everyone should buy lipstick and mail it to Palin's Campaign address.

Emma Raducanu is now comfortable travelling by public transport and does
not feel she is "hiding from anything any more" after her stalking ordeal.

Americans are stupid.
Seems to me that the Palin hate is more about the failure of the Democrats to control the imagination of the media and, therefore, the people.
No way around it, compared to Hillary, Palin is a hottie. She's got that naughty librarian look that's so much more pleasing to the eyes than Clinton. Get over it. Forget the focusing on Palin, she's not the one running for president anyway.
And attempting to use tactics like questioning the other candidate's experience sound like last months' news - when the republicans were doing the same thing to Obama.
For months, Obama has been the darling of the media. Now, he's old news and the media loves Palin. This is bad news moving into the fall. Dems need to figure a way to bring Obama back into the spotlight before people follow the media and vote for Palin (McCain who?).
