Timothy P. Lekin
LEKIN , Timothy P. Suddenly, on November 26, 2008 Timothy Paul Lekin. Born May 15, 1973 in Williamsburg, VA. Graduated from Gilman in 1991 and University of Vermont in 1996 with a B.S. in Forest Biology. Devoted son of James L. Lekin and Sandra Lekin; dear brother of Jeanne Lekin. Also survived by stepmother Kathleen Ryan Lekin; stepbrothers, Mark and Michael Ryan; birth mother Linda Gray; two nephews and one niece. Timothy was director of Planning and Administration for the M.S. Willet Company of Cockeysville, MD. Previously a Biomedical Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California from 1999 to 2006. He has co-authored numerous articles on protein crystallization screening and mycobacterium tuberculosis for scientific publications and the co-author of three patents and one pending on crystallization screening. Tim was an avid fisherman and had taken up golf in the past year , devoted to environmental issues and loved animals. Tim had an infectious smile and was a loving caring person.
