Donuts that make you go Whoa!

Surprisingly I have not had many killer donuts. In fact I don't think any exist in the Baltimore-DC region. The DD v KK battle is over and frankly they both aren't that great. Blah blah right when the Hot light is on. Blah blah glazed is awesome. Good donuts but not awesome. DC is in need of a killer donut shoppe, Fractured Prune is OK but it tries to be every donut for every type of person. I think with a bit of care a good donut, a Whoanut, could thrive in our region.

I like a Boston Creme or a cinnammon sugar one. I just want a little care and love in my donuts. Add a hipster scene and good coffee and you are set. What we have to avoid is the cupcake factor or the overcharging/pricing of food.

It is the time of the fall of cupcakes. Now is the time of donuts!
