Mom made beignets for breakfast they were like soft stones with powdered sugar. My car is still in the shop. Estimate $2800 in repair, warranty covers $2200 but no car so my mom drops me at my press conference. I got $1 million earmark for community health centers in the district. Yeah, me! It's always good to remind oneself that the juice is worth the squeeze, sorry a business associate emailed me that phrase and it stuck. Had Qdoba for third day in a row, this time had a burrito bowl. Worked from the district office and I still suck on the back nine of Fiji course for iPhone golf. Talked to the boss about how great twitter is and why we should do it. Had Chinese food for dinner and took the train back to DC. Reminded myself that "Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each." Talked with cabby about economic situation. Back in DC after two days of no car hell. Thought up gourmet hot dog cart, fresh condiments, locally baked buns, home made crisps. Discussed need to move to San Sebastian/Biarritz.
