A Mother's Disappointment

I took my mom to 1789 for Mother's Day and she was disappointed. She saw what was on tap for brunch and immediately looked around for another menu. We asked the waiter if we could order off the dinner menu and he said no. She wanted nothing to do with this place. I told her that we could leave but she said she would make do. Ughh. I have disappointed my mom on a number of levels but I think I have a decent sense of good places to eat but I have struck out on every place I have taken my mom. So she has called me gay, asked if i have ED, hates my taste in restaurants and thinks G'town cupcakes are only popular and good because they have way too much sugar.
