When did i stop listening to current music? My last album was Zooey Deschanel's album before that was Weezer's Red Album. i know uncool, but im a dork.
My playlist on my iphone are tributes to mainly 90's alt rock with hints of 80's college rock. I believe my work mates said, "I was dating myself." Why don't i have newer music damn it? i think the problem is that you can't watch music videos anymore. I fucking want my MTV! For example, Alien Ant Farm's "Smooth Criminal" was a great video that made me want to buy the disc. Now, i can only get a 30 second video clip on fuse or itunes and my favorite station WTMD is ok and so is amoebe record's website but still nothing too new in my collection. Maybe Onocoffe dating 20 years olds has ancillary benefits like it allows him to build out his music collection. The genius button on itunes only gives me more like music. Instead of a genius button i need a tarot card button predict new music for me! I think i just need to room around a cool record store in DC and find good music, i know i laughed out loud as well. DC killed the greatest alt rock station ever,WHFS, and for that I can't forgive this city. Help me find new music. I know I need new music but "April Skies" from the Jesus and Mary Chain still crushes anything from the Killers or Kings of Leon.

Watch more hipster movies. Listen more to WTMD. Read hipster blogs. Pick up Rolling Stone once in a while. Catch a show on an off nite at the 930 club.
That's how you can hear more music.
Do you ever listen to kcrw online? I find out a lot of new music just from listening to morning becomes eclectic. They have so many djs on there too to meet whatever musical taste you want.
Amazon search...
That's how I find my music. I enter a band I like the sound of, then see the"other customers who bought"... found many a good bands that way.
And it's easy. Andy it's actually quite specific, but at the same time not narrow.
