For lunch I had an Obama Burger and a Coke at Good Stuff Eatery. An Obama Burger is rocquefort cheese, bacon, onion marmalade and a horseradish mayo. The horseradish mayo seemed to disappear into the burger and the roquefort and onion marmalade were very pronounced but you still got a good chunk of burger goodness. The burger relies heavily on the toppings for flavor and i would like to see more seasoning on the burger itself. Overall, the combination of toppings was sweet, smoky, and savory and the burger was juicy with the obligatory toasted buttery bread. I thought the bacon would provide more of a crunch and it did to an extent but not as much as i would want. Maybe crisp lettuce and a tomato but I think that would just explode the burger into a messy blob. At first i took a big bite, but I liked the flavor profile so much I went to smaller bites to enjoy the flavors.
The question is if I went back would I get it again. The answer is "Yes."
I was dispapointed that spike wasnt there. i like seeing him at the helm of the restaurant. I by-passed the fries. I prefer bigger french fries, steak fries size, i like to taste the potato.
Recession CapitolSwell did not like the $7 burger and $2 soda. Thats too pricey this combo should come to $5 tops.
