Mountain Dew

What is the flavor of Mountain Dew. I've never really thought about it but I like to overthink so here is a good candidate. Mountain Dew is citrusy but what is the inspiration. I think I found it. It taste like grenadine. Coke and grenadine. Maybe i'm just warped or maybe its just the excessive sugar. Do the taste test you'll be surprised i know i was.

You are quite right about the unusual taste of Mountain Dew.

The best explanation I have come accross is that it is a Citrus Cola.

Its so addictive !!
