Session

Session use to mean outings at the beach, in the water trying to get barreled. It use to mean early morning surf then french toast at Laytons. It use to mean Indian River Inlet with nice chest high small but fun waves. Now it means work. Thats not necassarily bad. There are freaky similarities between Congressional Session and Surf Sessions.

First sometimes we have epic days, at the beach it's usually pulling into that hollow tube, at work it is passing an amendment or pulling off something big.

Second, I like morning session better, i work better and my head is clear.

Third its crazy intense, I know most people dont get it but when you are in the water and someone yells, "outside" you get this rush and you want to charge. Outside means a nice set is coming in and it looks big. When big bills come up in Congress you want to do the same you want to tackle the bill and just use it to your advantage.

Fourth session happens all the time. You are at it all the time and then when recess hits you are just mellow, like days when its is glass or August recess and no one is around.

Fifth, bettys everywhere.

Sixth, sometimes when the day ends you are exhausted and feel dirty.
