Best Movie You Have Never Seen

Bandwagon is a tale of a newly formed band from Raleigh NC who go on a roadtrip that displays the growth of the band both professionally and inter personally. Plus the lead singer of the Connells, greatest band of all time, Doug McMillian is the mystical band guru manager. The Circus Monkeys, the fictional band is a great name becaue the band are monkeys for all of us to watch. They Circus Monkeys are competiting with Spittle a rival NC band more on the death metal side. I guess the only reason I like is that it reminds of the music I used to listen bascially any college rock music from Raleigh Durham and Athens GA. Those are bands like REM and the Connells or Gresham Disco. These guys gave way to Dave Matthews...so the band is on tour and it has all the typical players, eccentric lead guitar, drama queen lead singer, drummer who wants to get laid, and a base guy who just hangs out. The question is whether or not signing with a label is the most important or is the music the most important. Its on Starz.

You mention "Gresham Disco"... a friend and ex band mate of the Drummer of a band called "Gresham Disco" based near Georgia Tech gave me a very pro demo tape that was one of my all time favorite collections of tunes in the late 80s / early 90s.

Any more info on them?
I'd love to track down a new copy of that demo!
