Have you ever had really good cake? I mean better then wedding cake and better then any birthday cake. I mean great cake with a butter creme icing that is sweet but doesnt taste just of sugar or out of the canness. Cakelove is some of the best cake. There is a level of care and attention to the food that makes high caliber cake. The cake is evenly baked inalltheir layers. The icing is put on with a little flair. Words cant explain the cake..maybe these phrases...perfect day, nirvana, enlightenment, taking back the House.
if Marie Antoinette had Cakelove in paris during the jacobin revolution, well lets just say she would have kept her head.
Also this place is one of the few places in DC where they make a decent cup of coffee. Actually I had a capuccino that was hot freshly gorund beans with just the right amount of foam.
