Moving Day

From my new cube in the legislative cube farm I can see the mall, the monument, flights on the north approach to National airport, and if i crane my neck i see the capitol. It is a truly amazing view. Tonight i was going back to the office to finish some work and i saw the Capitol at night and it is abeuatiful sight. Its inspiring and it makes me unbelieveably happy. Work has ups and down, and i am in a down swing, i have to realize that i have a great job and get to do good. I know it sounds trite to say, "Do Good," but its true.

At the event i was at I met a girl who just lost her job or her boss was defeated. A young girl who was working in an office and going to college. She was so young. I cant imagine one day having it all and the next day poof. What you live for, what drives you, and your sense of who you are is taken away. Every two years people get their dreams crushed.
