Top Chef

I love cooking shows and i like super chefs like Gordan Ramsey and Tony Bourdain. Top Chef, while a reality show, also displays some interesting cooking and great insight into what a trained chef is capable of doing. Today Mia volunteered to leave even though Mike should go. Anyway, next weeks show is a 7 course dinner and it looks like it will be for the Entourage cast. Who is the best cook? I would like to see the top chefs go up against the Iron Chefs, and then i would like to see Gordan and Tony go against each other but use top chefs as their teams. I hope Ilan wins he is the sleeper.

What makes a good chef? top chef contends that a good chef no matter the circumstance or food selection should be able to whip up something good? Wow that seems like such a daunting task. But it teaches me a valuable lesson. It does remind me that perfection is impossible and that i should do the best with what i have.
