Movie Review: Because I Said So

Yes,i went to this move. i took my mom, she wnated to go and we saw it before noon so it was only five bucks. It stars Mandy Moore and Diane Keaton. Keaton plays the overly involved mom thats trying to help her last daughter find true love whne in the end the one who needs true love is Keaton. I will say this Mandy Moore was delightful in this movie. She was quirky, and pretty, hoping to find love while honoring her family. That was the only good thing with the movie. Even the cute kid ploy didnt work. The underlying theme throughout the moive wasnt love conquers all, or open yourself up to love it was man everyone can be annoying. The movie was annoying. it was a constant annoying buzz. The character development was lacking, the story was incongruent, for example the love interest plays the guitar and then during the reconcilaition scene mandy moore wants to play to get him back!??!?!! but there was never ever any mention of her wanting to play the guitar. It was infurating.

I do want to see Mandy Moore tackle something darker. I would like to see her range, she needs to move past looking for love characters.

well Mandy Moore pouted and sang again, so i am not sure when she will portray something that is more than what she does now.
