French Movies

Why do i watch these dumb movies...i just caught Lila Dit Ca, (What Lila Says) on ON Demand...muslims in Paris just trying to live in post 9-11 France, harassed by police and jobless the only shining moment comes when the main chacter falls for a provacitive french woman...she isnt terribly pretty but sexy as hell. They fall for each and well it is a french film so i wont go into it...

But it was interesting...the dialogue was wordy but authentic...it was real, it felt organic...i was caught up in the film in seconds. It was good story telling...i havent had an american movie do that in awhile...BrowserMetrics has a knack for predicting outcomes and plot lines with ease...thats why most US films dont impress...they are predictable...it no longer is a story but a visual ladscape littered with digitized crap...

...Les Visteurs was a great film, whacky concept executed well...whit stillman does a good job so does wes...i cant wait for the summer blockbusters!
