Did I like it? Begrudingly, I have to say yes. But when are we going to stop with average Joe really isnt avergae Joe but a super spy. I know overdone, yes, but slacker turned spy with hot CIA operative makes for a situational comedy packed full of nuts.
Basic plot summary: Chuck, a non-potential reaching, call of Duty playing stanford dude, gets sent an email, from old college roommate who stole his girl, with a thousand images encrypted with the nations most secret of secret intelligence, his mind absorbs all this infomration thus becoming a human vessel containing all of our national intelligence. His mind links all this intelligence together and so he knows all the threats that our country faces. He is persued/watched over by a CIA hot operative, who secretly was old college roommate's girlfriend and a NSA slightly off base killer.
I liked the show because I like slacker types win out in the end type shows. Chuck's friend Morgan is annoying and clingy. his sister is cute, well meaning but overly dodding, sister's boyfriend is an all american great guy. he works in a "Buy More" as a nerd herd and hsi workplace evil genius is a angry asian dude.
What antics will they come up with...i hope it is the mishearing someone in the bathroom while changing pipes and thinking someone is pregnant a la Three's Company. Honeslty, I just dont know how much slacker saves the world I can take on NBC. i mean isnt that what Hero's is all about...maybe they will cross over shows, how sweet would that be.
Watch it it'll only last a year. i wish I could buy it on iTunes no wait NBC wont let me.

If it was 30 minute comedy show with suggestive action and just concetrates with spies in average setting would be a great show. We'll see. Thank god for DVR. I just skim through it. But I do dig it even though the main guy is like Daz Shepard in Zak Braffs body.
I'm tired of the super hotty spy thing.
