Thoughts on V-Day

What a terrible day to be alone! Love is in the air and I get to share this day with no one. I fall under the dillusion that I wil find love like in the movies, and that isnt the case. There are no moments of revelation where we glance at each other and know. There are no realizations after seeing her legs wrapped in blanket that she couldnt meet me because she was hit by a car. There is no random bump at the Whole Foods and sparks fly. There is nothing but void. Darkness. Its a waste land out there and Im stuck in the middle of it.
