Monring Rush
A breeze up from the Potomac swept over the house. Its a warm wind, filled with the smells of a a new spring. The smell of pollen fills my nose and I instantly get stuffy. Not to be morbid and not that i think I'm important but I always stall for a second when I turn my ignition...there might be a car bomb. I pull away from the curb and zoom through the neighborhood to Rock Creek. Dodging school girls at NCS, and squezzing through clogged tree lined streets. Im ready for Rock Creek Parkway. Rock Creek Rush Hour is a queued up and organized rush. Those people that try and break the customs of Rock Creek are shunned and are meet with honks and middle fingers. I dont hate these people for trying a new way in but I do flip them off. Last week i flipped off a cute preppy girl in a white 4runner. I often get lost in my head on the way to work, I have the chatter of the Sports Junkies going on and i tune back in everytime they talk about basketball or hot women. im a pig I cant help it. I have my iPhone hoked in and my currnet playlist always seems to start with Southern Cross and moves directly into Good Life. Put the rush of traffic is a blur, did I almost crash into anyone, did a friend drive bye waving. i wouldnt know Im oblivious to it all. I snap back in at the last section of my drive which is getting onto independece. This is where the VA traffic meets up with Rock Creek traffic and it turns into a slugfest. dodge and weave and a few quick jabs and I'm at work.

There was a sinkhole on Route 70. I spent two hours in the car this morning because of it. iPod and hidden cigarettes in the car saved my life.
