Im having no luck in recreating orange Fanta from Europe.
I have tried a number of orange juices, a number of sodas, a number of seltzers and sparkling waters flavored an unflavored. I have used Tang to spritz up my concotions and nothing. What comes close is Orangina with a fizzy application, sprite or poland spring and a bit of Valencia OJ and a smidge of tang for kick. I mean it is close but no cigar. It needs something to cut the sweet. Also, I'm making this concotion in small batches and i need a larger vessel to keep the drink and I need a way to keep it fizzy.
Believe me i have looked at all the ways of buying EU fanta, but my mad scientist tests are much more fun.

I have never been to the USA so can't really relate to these comments about our fanta here in Europe - however I tried some last week; just to see what all the fuss is about ;) - and it tasted the same as the Fanta back in Oz? Have any business trips lined up in Australia? you can stock up there??
