Ilan vs Marcel seems a little contrived. The two people who hate each other facing off. I think it should have been Ilan v Sam, or Elia v Sam. The judges should remember how many quickfire and elimination challanges are won and that should be a consideration. Its hard to say who is better. The one comment that stuck with me was, these guys stay within what they know, spainsh for Ilan and micro blah blah for Marcel. Isnt that human nature, to use what you know? Sam is a good chef but he can be better if he didnt fear making a mustake. Elia is good too but she never really listened to the challanges and just did her thing. Marcel is tricky, foam enough with the foam but he does have some skills. Ilan is like sam, they know what they are doing but they rarely step olutside themselves. I guess that comes with age and experience.
I guess now i'm for Ilan.
Top Chef should come to DC. We have great food and chefs.

Ilan seems cool as shit. That boy knows what he's doing. I hope he takes it.
